Double Portion

As we finish our series on miracles from the life of Elijah, we end with Elijah going to be with God in a whirlwind. Elisha saw him leave and was then given a double portion, or inheritance, to be the next prophet of Yahweh. As believers, the Holy Spirit indwells us and we can have that inheritance as well! The same God who did miracles then is the same God that can do them in our lives today. He truly is God of the impossible!
